• The cottage is located in the traditional Finnish farm area, which has a very long history. Cottage is located on the shore of the beautiful lake Liesvesi. This lake is a part of the Rautalampi water route with 7 cascades and rapids.

• Short trips the forest nearby. Path is about 2 kilometres long and Tiipii along it has places for ten people. One has chance to cook and make coffee by the fire. Also possible to fish and pick berries and mushrooms. Guided fishing and other trips can be arranged also.
• In the wintertime cross-country ski near the cottages. There are about 15 kilometres of skiingstrails and one of them goes from Salmenharju to the centrum of Konnevesi. Along the skiingtrail there is a hill about kilometre from the cottages in where children can play.
